Tucker

"Tucker is a chocolate lab.  He is always clean, neat, and responsible.  He is super intelligent, intense about playing fetch, and very competitive with his younger brother.  He walks up to bed on his own every evening around 9 p.m.  When he's done with you, he's done.  We have a baby girl, though, who he has a soft spot for.  It's not uncommon for him to make it to her room first when she wakes up crying from a nap."

Stella

I still have a few more pet paintings to do for Christmas delivery, which would be cutting it real close, except one of them is local, which means it's only cutting it close. After this I expect business to slow down. Maybe I'll paint something different for a change. I love painting the "puppies and kitties" but a little change every now and then is nice.

Kassie by Linda Snider Ward

This little watercolor, 8" x 10" on gallery-wrapped watercolor canvas, was a special order from a client. He wanted both his adorable dog and his beautiful yard in the composition, so the final image is a bit surreal. Kassie is actually a small dog, but to paint her in proportion with the actual yard would have made her less important, so together we selected this option. The client was happy with the result, and that's what's important. You can see more of my work at my blog
